Unown. The 201st pokémon. With only one move and pathetic stats, this pokémon is pretty much useless for serious battling. No, the unowns' main allure is their shape: there are 26 forms of unown, each of which looks like a letter of the English alphabet. (Plus two more, which look like the punctuation marks ! and ?).

And so, this page does not focus on battling at all, but the locations of the Unown, in an attemt to help you collect all 28 forms.

FireRed/LeafGreen
-----------------

In these versions of the game, the unown are found on Seven Island of the Sevii Islands. They are distibuted throughout 7 different ruins, each of which contain only a few forms.

Here are the rarities of each form, and which chamber they can be found in:

Dilford

Diamond/Pearl
-------------

In diamond and pearl versions, the unown are found in the Solaceon Ruins.
The ruins take the form of a few main chambers and many dead ends. If you find your way through the ruins you wind up in a room with a few items and an inscription on the wall.
In each of the main chambers (including the entrance and final room), there is a single form of unown which you can run into. 

Proceding through the main chambers, you will find these forms:

	1. F
	2. R
	3. I
	4. E
	5. N
	6. D

As you can see, they spell "friend".

In the dead end rooms you can find every other unown form except ! and ?.
The dead end rooms do not seem to have a pre-determined set or rarity of unown forms, other than excluding the FRIEND and !? unown.
Since the form of a particular unown is usually determined from its [Personality ID][1], I don't know if the formula used for exclusion results in an even distribution of unown forms or not.

The unowns' levels range from 15 - 25.

The ! and ? unown forms can be found once you have seen every other unown form.
Once you have, go to route 214 and enter the now- Ruin Maniac's Tunnel. At the other end, you can enter a previously unreachable room where you can find the ! and ? unown, along with another inscription.
